The Far Pavilions An Epic on a Grand Scale A thousand extras, five thousand costumes, three opulent palaces and scores of camels, horses and elephants help to recreate the splendor of India under the British Raj—the setting for HBO Premiere Films’ The Far Pavilions. The $12 million mini-series was filmed in the ancient Indian city of Jaipur, giving an exotic flavor to the adventure and romance of the stirring love story. It should be one of the entertainment events of the year. See the first of three parts, starting April 22. The HBO Guide is published monthly by Home Box Office.
