HE© Soundtrack Who wants to see “Annie Hall” six times Or, to put it another way, why does HBO show the same movie again and again? Good question. It deserves a good answer. And our answer—our reasons, really—are just what make HBO so very special and unique. We do show all movies and specials several times. On different days. At different hours. We’re not like the commercial networks that schedule a one-shot and, iths later, a re-run. HBO programming is carefully worked out to give you a chance to see what you want to see, even preview programs for your family or friends. You can actually plan your viewing well in advance—so it doesn’t interfere with other things you want to do. Like going out to dinner or a ball game. Do you want to see everything HBO schedules? Probably not. Any more than you saw every movie released in a theatre before you became a subscriber. The point is, you may select those movies and specials you don’t want to miss. Of course, there are also avid fans who want to see their favorites half a dozen or more times. And that’s O.K. with us, too. Home Box Office reserves the right to make a schedule change or program substitution without notice. HBO welcomes letters from subscribers.
